Automated Generator Controls
Advanced Control Systems works with our clients in order to understand each individual customer’s needs and then customizes a solution appropriate to their project. While we offer standard solutions, it is this in-house engineering capability that sets us apart from some of our competitors. Our customizable Generator Control Panels are very simplistic and user-friendly, while maintaining the highest-level industry standards.
Our generator control switchgear was designed on the basis of industry standards and availability of parts around the world. We use Basler Regulators, Woodward Governor Controllers, and PLC’s for alarm and function control.
Like all Generator controls, our standard and custom units monitor all aspects of generator functions to ensure optimal current, voltage, pressure, and the temperature is maintained consistently with built-in visual displays, gauges, and meters for each parameter. ACS’s control panels may include; continuous digital readouts, large character LCD screens, displays with running time, oil pressure and water temperature sensors, set points and custom message options, remote and local start/stop capabilities, and of course shut-down capabilities. Each parameter is set with alarms and shutdowns should the system detect an issue to prevent damage or harm to the equipment.
